EPIC Application Analyst II – Home Health/Hospice

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +9 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct analysis and design of the Epic application system, including requirements gathering, specifications, configuration, documentation, testing, and implementation.

• Offer application support, troubleshooting, training, and reporting services.

• Provide support for integrated third-party applications as required.

• Act as a liaison among TSG groups, clients, and vendors.

• Perform foundational to intermediate analysis of Epic application design.

• Plan and optimize the use of applications during implementations.

• Address issues with minimal to moderate supervision and monitor their status.

• Keep peers, leadership, and clients informed with updates.

• Manage assigned responsibilities and support project tasks while adhering to deadlines.

• Engage in requirements gathering and assist during design sessions.

• Analyze client business requirements with guidance from senior analysts.

• Create documentation and reference materials for the supported applications and related technologies.

• Develop a working understanding of assigned Epic modules and integrations.

• Adhere to application change management processes.

• Monitor work efforts, including time spent, tasks, incidents, and enhancements.

• Take part in an on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Foster a positive and collaborative work atmosphere while adhering to departmental standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare, business, or at least 2 years of relevant experience may be accepted in place of a degree.

• A minimum of 2 years of related professional experience.

• Acquire and maintain at least 2 vendor and/or industry certifications or proficiencies as determined by management, following a primary Epic support application proficiency path.

• Retain certification/proficiency in a relevant Epic module.

• A self-motivated team player capable of working with minimal supervision.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Flexibility to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively with clients and vendors.

• Experience working in a matrixed environment and understanding bimodal work principles.

• Willingness to be flexible with hours, including participating in after-hours on-call rotation.

• Occasional travel may be required.
