EPC Project Manager – Electrical, Power Distribution, Microgrid, DER

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Ensure that the installation of DI equipment is accomplished safely, punctually, within budgetary constraints, and according to project specifications.

• Oversee project initiation, manage production/procurement processes, maintain budget control, monitor schedules, and facilitate project closeout.

• Uphold safe and healthy work environments by adhering to company standards and procedures, as well as complying with legal regulations.

• Organize and lead Initial Project Meetings (IPM).

• Perform contract evaluations, assess sales pricing, develop budgets, create project schedules, and plan implementations.

• Facilitate the Production/Procurement Release process for manufacturing.

• Coordinate and conduct project meetings with clients, utilities, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

• Grasp all elements of the project and manage the installation process effectively.

• Collaborate with relevant parties to ensure timely execution of the project schedule.

• Communicate with Senior Staff to guarantee that projects are installed safely, on time, and within budget.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, along with 4+ years of experience in the relevant industry.

• Alternatively, candidates with a High School Diploma and 8+ years of experience in the construction or energy sectors will be considered.

• Proficiency in reading and communicating in English.

• Experience collaborating with General Contractors and subcontractors.

• Experience supervising Construction Managers, Subcontractors, and Internal Resources.

• CAPM or PMP certification is preferred but not mandatory.

• Competence in using computers and standard office software.

• Ability to read and interpret construction documents effectively.

• Must demonstrate punctuality, organization, and professionalism.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required.

• Understanding of project management, construction processes, schedule development, and budget oversight.

• Capability to identify and prioritize tasks urgently while ensuring high quality and customer service.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Willingness to travel (50%+); must be able to drive a company vehicle and/or fly commercially as needed.

• Ability to stand or walk for 3–4 hours consecutively.
