This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Supervise the execution of significant programs and projects to meet internal and client-related KPIs.
• Maintain active participation in and delivery of billable work.
• Propel program performance, ensure client satisfaction, enhance business outcomes, and achieve KPI objectives.
• Recognize and proactively manage governance and risk challenges.
• Create solutions for client issues and take part in major project evaluations and dashboard assessments.
• Promote the use of digital tools and incorporate international Enterprise Capabilities into project execution.
• Oversee the delivery of high-quality client projects.
• Share management responsibilities for approximately 50 staff members within the department.
• Foster relationships across three multinational chemical company client organizations.
• Address significant challenges, support project manager feedback, develop succession plans, and provide guidance on recruitment.
• Train, mentor, and coach project managers and team members.
• Assess the individual performance of project managers.
• Collaborate on business development, growth of profitable backlog, financial success, budgeting, capture strategies, and pivotal pursuits.
• Escalate project challenges and manage resource allocation, technical issues, invoicing, cash collection, subconsultant, and vendor matters.
• Promote project management practices that align with AECOM Project Delivery System and Quality Management System standards.
• Ensure the precision of workload planning, compliance with pricing, DOA approvals, Salesforce pipeline data, and comprehensive forecast reports.
• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience, or a proven equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Must successfully pass a motor vehicle records check.
• US citizenship or permanent residency is required.
• Sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• A Master’s Degree is preferred.
• A preferred 15 years of related experience.
• California Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer license is preferred.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to motivate others towards a shared vision or objective.
• Flexible and adaptable in uncertain circumstances.
• Resilient and persistent, with a strong inclination to persevere.
• Capable of working collaboratively with others.
• Strong business insight and comprehension of organizational challenges and issues.
• In-depth knowledge and proven track record in the environmental/remediation sector, including risk-based strategic asset management and advocacy across multiple state jurisdictions for an environmental consultant.
