This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee the execution of significant programs and/or projects to meet internal and client-facing KPIs.
• Enhance program performance, business outcomes, client satisfaction, and KPI achievement.
• Recognize and proactively manage governance and risk-management challenges.
• Create solutions for client challenges and issues.
• Analyze program and project dashboards to pinpoint issues and enhance performance.
• Promote the adoption of digital tools and integrate Enterprise Capabilities into project execution.
• Manage high-quality client projects and deliver billable work effectively.
• Share responsibilities in people management for approximately 50 staff members within the department.
• Establish and nurture relationships across three multinational chemical company client organizations.
• Act as a key contact for resolving major issues and provide follow-up on concerns.
• Assist in feedback, succession planning, recruitment, training, mentoring, and coaching of project managers and team members.
• Assess the performance of project managers.
• Collaborate with account, practice-area, and business-line leaders to expand a profitable project backlog.
• Develop budgets and oversee business-development portfolios, including wins, bookings, and project supervision.
• Lead capture strategies for significant pursuits and major projects.
• Address project issues and manage resourcing, technical, invoicing, cash collection, subconsultant, and vendor concerns.
• Implement project-management practices consistent with AECOM PDS and QMS standards.
• Ensure precise workload planning, adherence to pricing compliance, DOA approvals, Salesforce pipeline data, and forecast reports.
• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience, or proven equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Experience in Environmental Site Assessment and Remediation.
• Successful completion of a background check is required.
• Successful completion of a motor vehicle records check is needed.
• US citizenship or permanent residency is mandatory.
• Must not require current or future sponsorship.
• A Master's Degree is preferred.
• 15 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Certification as a California Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer is preferred.
• Strong knowledge and proven track record in the environmental/remediation sector.
• Experience with risk-based strategic asset management and advocacy across multiple state jurisdictions while working for an environmental consultant.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to influence others towards a shared vision or objective.
• Capacity to work flexibly and adaptively in uncertain situations.
