Environment Specialist, Fluent in French – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Engage advanced language models on topics related to the environment, including carbon accounting, life cycle analysis, environmental remediation, monitoring of water and air quality, renewable resource management, environmental justice, and principles of the circular economy.

• Record instances of model failures to enhance reasoning capabilities.

• Interact with the model in both English and French regarding practical environmental scenarios and theoretical inquiries.

• Ensure the accuracy of facts and the consistency of logic.

• Document reproducible error traces.

• Propose enhancements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Assist in training AI that supports environmental education, regulatory compliance, conservation, research, policy aid, and innovations in sustainability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in French.

• In-depth knowledge of climate change, environmental impact assessments, pollution control, ecosystem management, biodiversity conservation, sustainability metrics, and environmental policy.

• Understanding of regulations and practices in French-speaking regions.

• Experience in the field or with regulatory processes.

• Familiarity with environmental assessments specific to the region.

• Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks.

• Acquainted with conservation strategies.

• Ability to engage in discussions in both English and French regarding environmental scenarios and theoretical questions.

• Strong metacognitive communication skills and the capability to "show your work."

• A master’s degree in environmental science, ecology, environmental engineering, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
