Enterprise Services Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Engage with Tanium customers as a hands-on expert in both remote and on-site settings.

• Administer, operate, and maintain the Tanium Platform and its modules to achieve specific operational, risk, compliance, asset, and security outcomes for customers.

• Tackle complex technical challenges either independently or collaboratively with teammates.

• Identify avenues for customers to extract greater value from the Tanium platform.

• Perform daily health checks on assigned accounts.

• Collaborate with Technical Support Engineers on strategic initiatives for customers.

• Contribute to and monitor activities, after-action reviews, root-cause analyses, and daily status updates.

• Document best practices and entries in the Play Book.

• Work alongside Customer Success Managers to enhance Tanium's operational performance within key accounts.

• Offer technical guidance to customer IT support teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of Secret security clearance is required; Top Secret or DV is preferred.

• A BA/BS degree or equivalent experience is necessary.

• At least 5 years of experience in IT/Consulting is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Administration/Engineering is essential.

• Experience with public sector customers is preferred.

• Proficiency in both German and English is required.

• Strong troubleshooting abilities are essential.

• Excellent articulation and communication skills are necessary.

• A broad understanding across various technical domains, with in-depth knowledge in one or more areas such as endpoint security, endpoint support/troubleshooting, incident response, systems management, systems administration, software engineering, or utility scripting.

• Proven critical thinking capabilities are required.

• Ability to decompose problems into manageable, organized components is essential.

• Skills to communicate problem statements and action plans effectively to others are necessary.

• Hands-on experience with Tanium is a significant advantage.
