This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise risk management framework that fosters safe growth, regulatory preparedness, and informed decision-making.
• Consistently identify, evaluate, monitor, and report on key risks with a proactive approach.
• Ensure alignment of enterprise risk management with regulatory standards and the strategic goals of the company.
• Establish risk appetite and evaluate resilience during stressful conditions.
• Assist in capital and liquidity planning initiatives.
• Assess new products and strategic modifications through a clear risk perspective.
• Convert intricate risk data into concise, actionable reports for senior management and governance entities.
• Develop and expand the enterprise risk and reporting function as the organization grows and seeks licensing opportunities.
• Begin with a hands-on approach, transitioning into a leadership role over time.
• 6–10+ years of experience in enterprise risk management, regulatory risk, or a similar field within a regulated financial services or banking context.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Business, Mathematics, or a related area.
• In-depth knowledge of enterprise risk frameworks, including Risk Appetite, RCSA, scenario analysis, stress testing, and ICAAP.
• Familiarity with regulatory expectations applicable to banks or payment institutions, including capital, liquidity, and operational risk standards.
• Experience in regulatory reporting and engagement with supervisors, auditors, and internal governance bodies.
• Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to translate complex risk and financial data into clear management and regulatory reports.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously with a high level of independence while collaborating across various functions.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and sound judgment.
• Professional risk or finance certifications such as CFA or equivalent qualifications are highly preferred.
