πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Act as the statistical authority for evaluating quality and performance, study designs, and analytical methodologies.

β€’ Assist the Senior Director of Quality Analytics with both qualitative and quantitative assessments, along with tools for continuous improvement.

β€’ Collect internal data from multiple sources for quality assessment and enhancement.

β€’ Create quality analysis plans and execute analyses and statistical tests in collaboration with the Senior Director and market business leaders.

β€’ Design and implement statistical models to forecast HEDIS rates and STAR ratings.

β€’ Support the preparation of quality and compliance reports by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting pertinent data.

β€’ Employ statistical methods, visualizations, and data to summarize HEDIS analytical requirements and assess impact.

β€’ Identify and review quality-related evidence and publications to bolster population health and quality initiatives.

β€’ Develop focused studies utilizing epidemiological methods aimed at populations for intervention strategies.

β€’ Collect and evaluate internal and external epidemiological data to assist with RFPs.

β€’ Design case-control, cohort, and various other epidemiological studies.

β€’ Present exploratory and predictive analysis results to administrative and business leaders.

β€’ Propose innovative, clear, and engaging visual representations of information.

β€’ Carry out other job-related tasks as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A Master's degree in statistics, public health, biostatistics, or a related discipline is mandatory.

β€’ At least five (5) years of pertinent experience in program evaluation is essential.

β€’ Proven expertise in epidemiological study design and statistical analysis is necessary.

β€’ Prior experience with SAS and SQL is required.

β€’ Familiarity with HEDIS and healthcare quality management is preferred.

β€’ Experience in the healthcare or managed care sector is preferred.

β€’ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Access, and advanced Excel skills is required.

β€’ Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies, including the Model for Improvement, Lean, and Six Sigma.

β€’ Familiarity with descriptive statistical applications and techniques.

β€’ Understanding of statistical modeling and testing.

β€’ Knowledge of managed care and healthcare data coding is preferred.

β€’ Skills in graphic development and presentation are required.

β€’ Strong critical listening, thinking, verbal, and written communication abilities.

β€’ Effective problem-solving skills.

β€’ Excellent writing capabilities.

β€’ General office environment; may need to sit or stand for extended periods.
