Enterprise Physical Security Installation Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as a subject matter expert in physical security and represent Flexential to employees, customers, and vendors.

• Oversee the design and construction efforts for physical security in new builds and retrofit projects.

• Set up servers, workstations, panels, and programmable components.

• Act as the main point of contact for any issues related to physical security systems.

• Manage projects and vendors according to industry standards.

• Design, implement, audit, troubleshoot, and maintain physical security systems.

• Prioritize and manage ticketing workflows for break/fix, installation, and maintenance tasks.

• Collaborate with compliance and audit teams.

• Assess and enhance physical security strategies and controls to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

• Lead cross-functional security assessments and initiatives for risk management.

• Coordinate physical security requirements for construction, retrofit, and implementation projects.

• Enhance internal processes, workflows, and training documentation.

• Educate teams and partners on risks, vulnerabilities, standards, and policies.

• Provide escalation support as part of the On Call rotation.

• Prepare status reports regarding activities and projects.

• Work alongside technical staff to design solutions that align with business needs.

• Engage in Incident Management during system outages.

• Collaborate with Design Teams during site construction and retrofitting.


⛳️ Requirements

• 7–10 years of relevant technical experience with low-voltage systems, access control, IP video/CCTV, and intrusion alarms.

• 7–10 years of programming, implementing, and maintaining access control, CCTV/IP video, and intrusion systems.

• 7–10 years of managing projects and staff in a multi-location/matrix environment.

• 7–10 years of researching and procuring technologies and human resources.

• 7–10 years of installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting both electrified and mechanical locking mechanisms.

• Ability to create, read, and interpret engineered site plans, floor plans, blueprints, and system schematics.

• Proficiency in Genetec or a similar system architecture.

• High-level competency in networking, switch configuration, and firewall principles.

• Strong knowledge of low-voltage security systems, devices, relays, sensors, electronic locking hardware, and mechanical devices.

• Familiarity with RS485 and Ethernet network design and devices.

• Ability to interpret operating manuals and component drawings, and develop equipment procedures.

• Skills in using and instructing others on multimeters and circuit tracers for low-voltage troubleshooting.

• Capability to organize maintenance schedules, coordinate vendors, and develop resolutions to problems.

• Proficiency in Change Management and Incident Management processes.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Genetec Certification or willingness to obtain it within 6 months.

• Ability to address critical issues effectively under pressure.

• Relevant industry knowledge and adaptability to future technological changes.

• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the United States and reside in an eligible state at the time of hiring and throughout their employment.

• Preferred qualifications include: ASIS Certification; proficiency in Windows Server and Video Management Systems; knowledge of Visio and CAD; experience with ServiceNow or other ticket-management systems; IT hardware/software certifications; and leadership experience in projects and initiatives.

• Ability to sit for extended periods and perform moderate to advanced keyboard tasks.
