Enterprise Network, Hybrid Cloud Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Architect and enhance enterprise routing, switching, WAN, and data center networking.

• Design secure hybrid cloud connectivity utilizing Azure ExpressRoute, AWS Direct Connect, BGP, and OSPF.

• Lead the integration of traditional networking, SDN, and multi-cloud environments.

• Implement Zero Trust segmentation, ACLs, and network security controls in compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, and NIST.

• Optimize network performance and availability for clinical systems, interoperability, enterprise data, and AI workloads.

• Propel network automation through Python, Shell, Ansible, and Terraform.

• Provide technical leadership for disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability architecture.

• Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, engineering, and executive leadership on enterprise infrastructure strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of practical experience in enterprise network engineering/architecture.

• Advanced knowledge of enterprise routers, switches, BGP, OSPF, WAN, and networking protocols.

• Strong experience in hybrid cloud networking with Azure and/or AWS.

• Familiarity with SDN, Zero Trust, network segmentation, and infrastructure automation.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise both technical and executive stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience is required.

• Certification required: CCIE OR Arista Cloud Engineer Expert (ACE-E).

• Experience in healthcare, Clinical Engineering/Biomed, and large enterprise infrastructure is preferred.

• Preferred certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

• Preferred certifications: AWS Solutions Architect – Professional.

• Preferred certifications: CISSP / CCSP.

• Preferred certifications: TOGAF.

• Candidates must reside in Florida.
