Enterprise Master Patient Index Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Safeguard the accuracy of patient demographic information by addressing issues within various source databases and the Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI).

• Reduce the risk of account overlaps.

• Uphold the reliability of source electronic medical records by addressing duplicate data issues.

• Analyze and execute merges, unmerges, overlays, and other necessary data adjustments in the relevant database system for patient medical records.

• Tackle problems proactively and independently, ensuring a high level of precision.

• Alleviate patient safety risks linked to the transfer of patient information.

• Timely inform all stakeholders involved in corrections across different systems.

• Ensure that corrections are implemented promptly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred minimum of an Associate's Degree.

• RHIA or RHIT certification is desirable.

• Required 3 - 5 years of experience in Medical Records.

• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Exceptional attention to detail along with strong organizational capabilities.

• Highly self-motivated; enthusiastic, self-starter capable of working independently with minimal guidance.

• Results-driven with a proven history of accomplishments.

• Adaptable and solution-focused.

• Strong skills in research, writing, analysis, and critical reasoning.

• Excellent presentation abilities.

• Proficient in both verbal and written communication.

• Collaborative skills within a team environment.
