Enterprise Data – AI Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Define and uphold enterprise data architecture, along with standards and frameworks for metadata management and governance.

• Develop metadata-driven data lineage frameworks to enhance enterprise transparency and improve data quality.

• Design and convert enterprise business and data requirements for a centralized analytics platform.

• Oversee the complete enterprise data architecture, including frameworks and models, such as data warehouses, pipelines, and integrations with enterprise systems.

• Assess, design, and implement AI solutions, including large language models, business process automation, production AI solutions, and document intelligence platforms.

• Lead the enterprise AI automation initiative from opportunity identification to design, deployment, and ongoing support.

• Create AI-driven automation for intricate business processes and manage prompt design, tuning, and evaluation.

• Enhance enterprise data and information workflows while ensuring a balance of accessibility, security, and governance.

• Architect API-driven integrations across various enterprise platforms including SAP Ariba, HighRadius, and Microsoft Graph.

• Offer technical leadership, direction, and mentorship on complex architectural projects.

• Provide guidance on data and AI strategy, along with technical roadmaps.

• Mentor engineering teams on CI/CD, data security, code quality, and architectural best practices.

• Adhere to company and departmental policies while performing other assigned duties.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent education and/or experience.

• 7 years of pertinent experience in data architecture, data engineering, AI architecture, and AI/ML solution delivery.

• Proven experience in designing and delivering production AI solutions.

• Familiarity with data warehousing, integration, documentation, and AI tools such as Azure Synapse, BigQuery, Snowflake, Informatica, Gemini, GPT, and Google Document AI.

• Strong expertise in Python and SQL for data pipeline development and AI solution engineering.

• Proficient in API-driven systems integration across ERP, procurement, finance, and CRM platforms.

• Deep knowledge of enterprise data architecture, data governance, metadata management, and lineage frameworks.

• Advanced understanding of AI solution frameworks, model lifecycle concepts, and supporting data needs.

• Capacity to evaluate technology solutions and recommend architectural approaches and best practices on an enterprise scale.

• Outstanding communication, influencing, and facilitation skills; capable of clearly presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and sway decision-making without direct authority.

• Strong collaboration, project management, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.

• Capability to work independently, maintain focus, and remember processes and procedures.

• Ability to thrive in a professional office or remote environment.

• Willingness to travel occasionally for business meetings, project activities, and collaborative events.
