Enterprise Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the maturity of architecture, the technology landscape, and existing documentation.

• Create a current-state architecture encompassing business capabilities, applications, data, integrations, infrastructure, identity and access, cybersecurity, and operational technology.

• Record system dependencies, data flows, interfaces, ownership, support arrangements, and the status of technology lifecycles.

• Identify areas of duplication, technical debt, obsolete technology, single points of failure, and architectural risks.

• Create a centralized architecture repository and establish documentation standards.

• Define the target-state enterprise architecture that aligns with business and technology strategies.

• Develop architecture principles, reference architectures, standards, preferred technology patterns, and transition roadmaps.

• Offer architectural guidance for core platforms, data and analytics, infrastructure, integration, cybersecurity, AI, and automation.

• Review initiative concepts, business cases, requirements, solution designs, and procurement proposals.

• Provide architecture assurance from the conceptual stage through to implementation.

• Govern architecture decisions, conditions, exceptions, and technical debt.

• Define the architecture direction for D365 and other essential enterprise applications.

• Map critical business data flows and enhance data quality, ownership, accessibility, reporting, and analytics.

• Encourage secure, scalable, and reusable integration across applications, partners, and acquired businesses.

• Assess acquired or geographically dispersed businesses and formulate integration and standardization plans.

• Create reusable architecture templates, processes, artifacts, and guidance.

• Mentor internal technology teams, business analysts, and delivery resources.

• Ensure a structured handover of architecture repositories, roadmaps, risks, decisions, and outstanding actions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in information technology, information systems, cybersecurity, business, or a related field, or equivalent senior professional experience.

• Significant experience as an Enterprise Architect, Principal Architect, or Senior Solution Architect in a complex, multi-site organization.

• Experience with outsourced technology services, managed service providers, and third-party implementation partners.

• Proven experience in supporting business acquisitions, technology integration, application rationalization, or enterprise-wide modernization initiatives.

• Advanced knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, principles, and governance.

• Ability to generate capability maps, application landscapes, data flows, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps.

• Strong understanding of enterprise platforms, application rationalization, data architecture, information governance, APIs, and integration patterns, preferably including D365.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Azure, hybrid infrastructure, networks, identity, cybersecurity, resilience, and operational technology environments.

• Experience in establishing architecture standards, decision-making rights, and review processes.

• Experience in evaluating business cases, procurements, and solution designs.

• Relevant enterprise architecture certification such as COBIT, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, or TOGAF is highly valued.

• Formal leadership, commercial management, or postgraduate business qualifications are a plus.
