This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Sustain the enterprise architecture baseline, which encompasses business capabilities, applications, data flows, and infrastructure components.
• Create and oversee the enterprise architecture roadmap that aligns with mission objectives and modernization priorities.
• Perform architectural evaluations to pinpoint redundancies, modernization requirements, and opportunities for technological enhancements.
• Manage architecture governance to ensure adherence to enterprise standards and DoD-aligned security protocols.
• Collaborate with product teams, cloud architects, and cybersecurity specialists to ensure alignment with enterprise objectives.
• Define and uphold reference architectures, integration patterns, and design standards.
• Assess system designs for compliance with Zero Trust, IL5 cloud, and cybersecurity mandates.
• Assist with enterprise portfolio management, covering system inventories, lifecycle statuses, and capability mapping.
• Analyze new technologies, tools, and cloud services for strategic relevance and long-term viability.
• Facilitate architecture working groups, decision boards, and technical reviews across teams.
• Generate architecture diagrams, capability models, workflow documents, and strategic planning materials.
• Support significant modernization projects and large-scale system redesign initiatives.
• Must possess an active Top Secret clearance, endorsed by a Tier 5 background investigation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience as an Enterprise Architect, Systems Architect, or senior technical strategist.
• Experience in maintaining enterprise architecture baselines and directing modernization efforts.
• Background in working across business, application, data, and infrastructure architecture domains.
• Experience supporting federal or DoD mission environments.
• Strong comprehension of enterprise architecture frameworks and capability modeling.
• Familiarity with cloud architectures, ideally AWS GovCloud.
• Knowledge of DoD security mandates, Zero Trust principles, and RMF-aligned architecture.
• Understanding of integration patterns, API ecosystems, and system interoperability.
• ITIL v4 Foundation certification is required.
• CompTIA Security+ certification is mandatory.
• AWS Solutions Architect certification (Associate or Professional) is required.
• Strong strategic thinking capabilities and the ability to align technology with mission objectives.
• Exceptional communication skills for engaging with executives, architects, and engineering teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for addressing complex enterprise challenges.
• High attention to detail paired with a disciplined approach to documentation.
• Capability to lead architectural governance and support rapid modernization efforts.
