This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Design and oversee the solution architecture for corporate technology, which includes Salesforce and Sage Intacct integrations.
• Collaborate with the Chief Product Officer, engineering teams, Director of Business Insights, RevOps, and functional leaders to implement the technical vision.
• Maintain and enhance the firm's data and systems ecosystem.
• Develop and keep documentation for system configurations, business logic, and integration workflows.
• Set firm-wide platform standards and empower users within established guidelines.
• Manage third-party contractor projects, ensuring quality, alignment, and timely, budget-compliant delivery.
• Perform system configurations directly when necessary.
• Make decisions on whether to build or buy components for the corporate technology stack.
• Oversee the quote-to-cash data flow from contracts through invoicing, revenue recognition templates, and billing schedules.
• Determine integration strategies utilizing out-of-the-box solutions or custom middleware.
• Monitor technology expenses and align systems with value-driven outcomes.
• Establish and uphold master data integrity and governance standards.
• Influence stakeholders and cultivate followership throughout the firm without formal authority.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred; a degree in IT or Technology is also welcome.
• Extensive, hands-on, current Salesforce experience is essential; candidates lacking substantial Salesforce experience will not be considered.
• Salesforce Administrator Certification is mandatory.
• Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, or Architect track certifications are highly beneficial.
• Significant experience in Business Systems, Solutions Architecture, or a comparable role.
• Proven track record of delivering, directing, and ensuring quality for contractors or Salesforce professionals on projects.
• Experience in a global Professional Services or B2B setting is highly desirable.
• Strong comprehension of professional services operations and accounting principles, including Bookings vs. Billings vs. Revenue Recognition.
• Familiarity with geographic and multi-entity operational and system configuration challenges.
• Experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems is highly advantageous.
• Capability to manage and integrate HRIS, collaboration, and financial systems.
• Ability to foster followership and credibility without formal authority.
• Comprehensive understanding of how system changes impact the entire business operating system.
• Skill in translating executive strategy into technical requirements.
• Hands-on, technically pragmatic approach to systems, integrations, and technical foundations.
