Enterprise AI Integration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, integrate, implement, and provide support for enterprise AI, automation, and business system solutions.

• Design, construct, configure, test, and deploy AI workflows, copilots, intelligent agents, and automation solutions.

• Create agent instructions, prompts, tools, knowledge connections, APIs, retrieval mechanisms, guardrails, escalation paths, and human-in-the-loop workflows.

• Link AI solutions with enterprise systems, applications, and data sources.

• Construct reusable agent patterns, workflows, prompts, connectors, templates, and technical components.

• Implement evaluation, monitoring, exception handling, and quality control measures for AI-enabled solutions.

• Diagnose and enhance deployed AI and automation solutions.

• Design, build, test, and support integrations among ERP, CRM, financial, project management, collaboration, operational, data, automation, and AI systems.

• Develop and troubleshoot REST APIs, authentication methods, connectors, data transformations, integration workflows, and event-driven processes.

• Configure enterprise applications, workflows, business rules, and associated platform capabilities.

• Rapidly produce proofs of concept and functional prototypes.

• Present prototypes, collect stakeholder feedback, and iterate on solutions.

• Transform successful prototypes into secure, tested, documented, and supportable products and production solutions.

• Convert business and process requirements into technical designs, prototypes, implementation plans, and production solutions.

• Oversee assigned solutions throughout development, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, stabilization, and transition to ongoing support.

• Coordinate technical activities with business teams, IT, system owners, vendors, and implementation partners.

• Develop and carry out technical testing, resolve defects, support user acceptance testing, and troubleshoot implementation issues.

• Assist in production deployments, post-implementation stabilization, and knowledge transfer.

• Engage in enterprise platform and business-system implementations throughout the implementation lifecycle.

• Enforce security, privacy, responsible AI, data-use, testing, documentation, and change-control requirements.

• Produce technical documentation, support materials, implementation records, and knowledge-transfer documentation.

• Convey technical approaches, dependencies, risks, progress, and implementation issues to stakeholders.

• Provide direct technical support and guidance to analysts, system administrators, process owners, and implementation teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems integration, enterprise applications, software or low-code development, intelligent automation, AI enablement, or related technical roles.

• Proven hands-on experience in building, configuring, integrating, testing, deploying, or supporting enterprise technology solutions.

• Practical experience with AI-enabled workflows, copilots, intelligent agents, retrieval-augmented solutions, generative AI applications, or similar AI technologies.

• Familiarity with enterprise systems and platforms such as ERP, CRM, Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Dynamics, Salesforce, Freshworks, or similar technologies.

• Experience with REST APIs, authentication, data flows, connectors, integration workflows, and related integration technologies.

• Background in developing proofs of concept, prototypes, automations, integrations, or internal technology solutions.

• Ability to convert business requirements and ambiguous problems into practical technical solutions.

• Proficient in working across development, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.

• Knowledge of human + AI workflows, including prompts, tools, knowledge sources, guardrails, evaluations, exception handling, and human oversight.

• Experience in participating in enterprise application or cross-functional technology implementations.

• Strong problem-solving, technical documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Experience in regulated or enterprise environments is preferred.

• Experience in life sciences, healthcare, GxP, SOX, or similarly regulated environments is preferred.

• Occasional travel may be required for meetings, training, and conferences.

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, operations, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.

• Certifications in cloud, Microsoft, AI, automation, integration, or enterprise applications are a plus.
