This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.
• Expand Penlink’s Private Sector/Enterprise client base and presence.
• Tailor Penlink’s platforms to align with the needs and objectives of Enterprise clients.
• Oversee the sales process for potential accounts.
• Sustain and enhance existing accounts within the western US region.
• Foster business relationships with both new and existing clients.
• Strategize and implement lead-generation and deal-closing tactics.
• Conduct presentations, site visits, manage conference booths, and demonstrate products.
• Provide consultative, value-focused selling centered on security, intelligence, and threat investigation.
• Identify key prospects and relevant contacts within the designated territory.
• Inform clients about current and forthcoming products and services.
• Initiate sales through outbound calls, emails, sales literature, and product information.
• Offer insights on Penlink products, competitors, and the competitive environment for strategic planning.
• Travel to trade shows and client locations.
• Generate quotations and finalize deals to achieve performance targets.
• Coordinate follow-up tasks, including CRM documentation, quote/order processing, lead tracking, marketing initiatives, scheduled callbacks, and representative visits.
• Collaborate with channel partners and resellers on prospecting and account coordination.
• Address incoming inquiries and customer service calls as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Proven ability to sell to professionals in security, external cybersecurity, threat intelligence, brand governance, risk, and related fields.
• Professional presentation abilities with the capacity to deliver high-level presentations to key accounts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong networking skills to build relationships with prospects and senior executives.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, leadership, and other teams.
• Detail-oriented with the capability to accurately calculate quotations and order quantities and input them into a database.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to lift booth materials and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to travel regularly by car and airplane.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
• College degree or equivalent education and professional experience.
• At least two years of experience managing a sales territory.
• Minimum of two years in presentation/demonstration roles.
• A minimum of two years of in-field, face-to-face, and telephone sales experience in a business context.
• Preference for in-field territory management experience.
• Preferred experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or risk software sales.
• Sales certification or familiarity with sales methodologies (e.g., Sandler, MEDDPICC, etc.) is preferred.
• Flexible remote work arrangement.
