Enrollment Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Respond to incoming calls from prospective patients, their families, caregivers, hospitals, and social workers.

• Assess potential members’ Verification of Benefits while understanding copays, deductibles, and out-of-pocket expenses.

• Make outbound calls to follow up on patient referrals.

• Collaborate with hospitals, social workers, patients, and their families.

• Engage with social workers to identify patient needs and promote referrals to Amae Health.

• Provide clear information regarding the services offered by Amae Health.

• Schedule and follow up on calls to ensure continued communication and progress on referrals.

• Keep precise records of interactions and follow-ups in the CRM system.

• Offer compassionate support to patients, families, and social workers.

• Work with internal teams to guarantee a smooth referral process and high-quality patient care.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a healthcare-related environment.

• Experience in the mental health sector is preferred.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Persistent, resourceful, and proactive in securing patient referrals and assisting patients throughout the enrollment process.

• Strong familiarity with CRM systems and computer applications, such as Slack, Google Suite, and RingCentral.

• Empathetic and compassionate when dealing with sensitive patient information and circumstances.

• Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Comfortable engaging in supportive conversations about complex mental health experiences.

• High emotional intelligence.

• Proficient in a phone-based work environment.

• Goal-oriented and resourceful.
