English Teaching Instructor – Online

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, prepare, and deliver engaging, high-quality live online sessions.

• Adhere to schedules, institutional methodology, and pedagogical planning.

• Follow the guidelines, procedures, and standards specified in the Conecta Project Guide.

• Take attendance and accurately record student attendance in the system.

• Complete class records and submit lesson content within the required deadlines.

• Assign and evaluate written and oral homework, activities, and assessments.

• Provide clear, constructive feedback to students.

• Enter grades, assessments, assignments, activities, and academic data into the system.

• Submit requested report cards, reports, and other pedagogical documents.

• Monitor students’ performance, participation, and progress, reporting relevant issues to the academic coordination team.

• Foster student participation and engagement.

• Assist students in utilizing educational tools and resources, such as CNA Net.

• Maintain professional and collaborative communication with the academic coordination team and staff.

• Participate in meetings, training sessions, and alignment discussions.

• Advanced proficiency in English, with exceptional oral and written communication skills and confidence across all four language competencies.

• Strong teaching abilities and assurance in conducting live online classes.

• Capability to work with various age groups and proficiency levels.

• Familiarity with educational technology, videoconferencing platforms, and digital tools.

• Excellent organizational skills, responsibility, commitment, and punctuality.

• Ability to follow the methodologies, plans, procedures, and pedagogical guidelines of the Conecta Project.

• Availability to engage in training sessions, professional development programs, meetings, and educational events.

• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and pursue professional and pedagogical growth.

• Access to a computer or laptop, a reliable internet connection, and a conducive environment for online teaching.

• Previous experience teaching English is advantageous.

• A completed or ongoing degree in Languages, Education, Translation, or a related field is an asset.

• International proficiency certifications, such as Cambridge, TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent qualifications, are beneficial.
