English Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Establish daily connections with students through proactive outreach.

• Assist learners in navigating the assigned curriculum while reinforcing essential concepts.

• Track student engagement and monitor academic progress.

• Recognize students who are struggling or disengaged and offer personalized interventions.

• Evaluate work promptly and offer constructive feedback.

• Keep accurate records of student progress and interventions.

• Engage with students and families through phone, text, chat, Zoom, and email communications.

• Collaborate with colleagues and leadership to promote student success.

• Take part in professional development, meetings, and training sessions.

• Instruct within the designated curriculum, pacing guidelines, and provided resources.

• Facilitate live sessions when required.

• Assist with proctoring during testing periods, which may include occasional travel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field (required).

• Teacher certification and completion of an approved teacher preparation program (required).

• Capability to obtain certifications in Arizona, Colorado, Washington, and other designated states (required).

• Must pass necessary background checks (required).

• Demonstrated content knowledge and previous educational success with diverse student populations.

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills.

• Proficiency in Mac OS, Google Workspace, learning management systems, and task management tools like Asana.

• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with remote teams.

• Willingness and capability to travel to designated testing sites for proctoring.

• A private, professional, distraction-free remote workspace with reliable high-speed internet access.

• Fixed availability from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mountain Time, year-round.

• Commitment to at least 40 hours per week with uninterrupted focus during scheduled hours.

• No concurrent employment during scheduled hours; outside work requires prior written approval.

• Must pass necessary background checks.
