English Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, prepare, and present lessons efficiently, ensuring that activities commence and conclude as scheduled.

• Adhere to the timetables set for each class, following the CNA methodology and accommodating the profile of each student group.

• Assign and evaluate homework, written tests, and oral assessments, offering constructive feedback.

• Input grades for assignments, assessments, and other activities into the school management system.

• Deliver report cards, reports, and other pertinent documents by the specified deadlines.

• Maintain class logs in the management system.

• Engage in training sessions and educational events organized by the school.

• Promote the utilization of educational tools such as CNA Hub, CNA Net, the review lesson website, and the Conversation Club.

• Contribute to student growth and innovative initiatives and outcomes within the academic department.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in English.

• Prior teaching experience at language schools or educational institutions (preferred).

• Experience instructing students across various age groups and proficiency levels.

• Mastery of all four language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

• Capability to implement teaching methodologies and tailor them to the class profile.

• Familiarity with educational technology and digital tools for online instruction.

• Degree in Languages, Education, Translation, or a related discipline (preferred).

• Certifications demonstrating English proficiency such as TOEFL, IELTS, or Cambridge qualifications (preferred).

• Proficiency in Spanish (highly desirable).

• Competence in Microsoft Office.

• Experience in developing cultural activities related to the English language.

• Availability to work 100% online during the following hours: Monday through Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 10:15 p.m., and Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
