English Language Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malta.

📋 Description

• Engage with advanced language models in English-language scenarios.

• Assess models on aspects such as grammar, syntax, morphology, semantics, phonetics, pragmatics, and cultural context.

• Validate factual accuracy and logical consistency.

• Document reproducible error traces and outline model failure modes.

• Propose enhancements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Assist in generating high-quality training data for next-generation AI models.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in the English language, covering grammar, syntax, morphology, semantics, phonetics, and pragmatics.

• Capability to analyze sentence structure, verb tense and aspect, word usage, idiomatic expressions, pronunciation, and cultural context.

• Strong metacognitive communication skills and the ability to "show your work."

• A degree in English language, linguistics, or a related field is preferred.

• Peer-reviewed publications, teaching experience, or practical linguistic analysis projects indicate suitability.

• Secure computer and high-speed internet connection provided by the contractor.
