English Language Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belize.

📋 Description

• Engage in conversations with AI language models in English on a diverse array of subjects.

• Ensure linguistic precision and cultural appropriateness.

• Document reproducible error traces and outline model failure modes.

• Assess language models on contextual interpretation, tone adjustment, regional spelling practices, colloquial expressions, and semantic correctness.

• Recommend enhancements for prompt engineering and evaluation criteria.

• Assist in training AI models to comprehend regional vocabulary, pronunciation, idiomatic phrases, and cultural nuances.

⛳️ Requirements

• Specialist in English (Caribbean/Belize/Guyana) with proficiency in regional grammar, phonetics, syntax, idiomatic expressions, and cultural allusions.

• Relevant professional experience in teaching, translation, localization, or editorial roles is advantageous.

• Strong metacognitive communication skills and the ability to clearly demonstrate your thought process.

• A degree in Linguistics, English, Literature, Translation, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
