English into Latvian Financial/Banking Freelance Linguists

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Convert content from English to Latvian

• Assist clients with their translation requirements as a freelance linguist

• Focus on Financial/Banking topics

• Finish a client-specific e-learning module

• Undergo a background check if necessary during the onboarding process

⛳️ Requirements

• Native proficiency in the target language

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English

• Expertise in Financial/Banking subject matter

• Strong attention to detail, including spelling and grammar

• Capacity to maintain professionalism in all circumstances, particularly under tight deadlines

• One of the following: a degree in translation, linguistics, or language studies (or an equivalent degree with substantial translation training) from an accredited institution; 2 years of translation experience paired with a college degree; 5 years of experience without a degree; or a government-issued certificate of competence in translation

• Demonstrated experience with financial/banking content

• Completion of a brief client-specific e-learning module

• Capability to pass a bank-required background check if onboarding continues

• Must reside in the United States
