This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bangladesh, +5 more countries.
• Design realistic, multi-step terminal tasks that reflect engineering and scientific workflows.
• Generate engineering datasets, simulation inputs, geometry files, sensor data, design constraints, and configuration files.
• Create expert solutions utilizing Python, C/C++, Julia, MATLAB/Octave, Bash, or other relevant engineering software.
• Establish reproducible, containerized environments equipped with the necessary tools and pinned dependencies.
• Develop tasks that encompass simulation, numerical analysis, optimization, control systems, signal processing, FEM concepts, CAD-related data, and engineering design.
• Formulate automated tests and objective grading criteria to ensure engineering correctness, including assessments of units, physical constraints, tolerances, convergence, stability, and boundary conditions.
• Troubleshoot solver, dependency, workflow, precision, and performance challenges.
• Document assumptions, requirements, expected outcomes, edge cases, and technical validation processes.
• Evaluate task solvability, reproducibility, and scientific accuracy.
• Integrate feedback to enhance task quality and the reliability of evaluations.
• Ph.D., postdoctoral experience, or equivalent advanced technical expertise in an engineering field such as mechanical, electrical, chemical, aerospace, civil, materials, biomedical, robotics, or control systems engineering.
• Proficient in scientific programming with experience in Python, C/C++, Julia, MATLAB/Octave, Bash, or a similar language.
• Practical experience in Linux or terminal-based environments.
• Familiarity with engineering simulation, modeling, numerical analysis, optimization, signal processing, control systems, or technical data analysis.
• Strong comprehension of numerical methods, engineering units, physical constraints, boundary conditions, and technical validation.
• Capable of constructing, debugging, and validating reproducible computational engineering workflows.
