Engineering Manager – Team Monetisation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Lead, develop, and support a team of full-stack engineers through one-on-one meetings, career progression, recruitment, and constructive feedback.

• Take ownership of the delivery within the Monetisation domain, ensuring consistent, high-quality releases aligned with a well-defined roadmap.

• Establish technical direction alongside the team and provide guidance on architectural decisions.

• Maintain a hands-on approach to help resolve challenging technical issues.

• Collaborate with product teams to define priorities across value-added services, payment solutions, and escrow functionalities.

• Promote AI-assisted engineering as a standard practice within the team’s development processes.

• Link engineering initiatives and daily tasks to revenue outcomes.

• Collaborate with broader engineering leadership to establish priorities and eliminate obstacles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing and developing a team of software engineers, including talent development and recruitment.

• Background in payments or fintech (e.g., Stripe, Adyen, Braintree), or experience in escrow, KYC, or identity verification.

• Strong engineering expertise, preferably full-stack, with proficiency in TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, and React.

• Demonstrated success in owning delivery for a team or domain, transforming strategy into actionable roadmaps, and executing them.

• Comfortable evaluating designs, guiding architectural decisions, and making technical trade-offs.

• Knowledge of GraphQL and its application in large-scale systems with multiple consumers.

• Experience with relational database management systems such as PostgreSQL.

• Regular utilization of AI tools like Claude, Cursor, or Codex in engineering tasks.

• Insight on how teams should effectively adopt AI-assisted development practices.

• Proficient in English is mandatory.

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Grafana is a plus.

• Experience in experimentation or conversion rate optimization (CRO) is a bonus.

• Background in implementing or scaling AI coding workflows at either team or organizational levels is a bonus.
