Engineering Manager – Team Monetisation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

📋 Description

• Lead, nurture, and enhance a team of full-stack engineers through individual meetings, career advancement, recruitment, and constructive feedback.

• Take ownership of the delivery for the Monetisation sector, ensuring consistent, high-quality releases aligned with a well-defined roadmap.

• Establish the technical direction with the team and provide guidance on architectural decisions.

• Maintain an active role to make informed technical decisions and resolve challenging issues.

• Collaborate with product teams to prioritize initiatives across value-added services, payments, and escrow.

• Advocate for AI-assisted engineering as an integral part of the team’s development process.

• Link the engineering roadmap and day-to-day tasks to revenue outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing and developing a team of software engineers, including fostering growth and recruitment.

• Background in payments or fintech (e.g., Stripe, Adyen, Braintree), or experience in escrow/KYC/identity verification.

• Strong engineering foundation, preferably full-stack expertise with TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, and React.

• Demonstrated success in overseeing delivery for a team or domain, transforming strategy into actionable roadmaps and executing them.

• Proficient in reviewing designs, guiding architectural decisions, and navigating technical trade-offs.

• Familiarity with GraphQL in extensive systems with multiple consumers.

• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.

• Regular use of AI tools like Claude, Cursor, or Codex in engineering tasks.

• Proficient in English.
