Engineering Manager, Product Catalogs

📋 Description

• Lead the full-stack Product Catalogs team responsible for enhancing Reddit’s advertiser-facing experience.

• Develop user interfaces, APIs, and backend systems that oversee advertisers’ product management.

• Design a catalogs system capable of scaling to accommodate billions of products.

• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to create optimal user experiences.

• Work in tandem with teams from Ad Formats to Ad Delivery to ensure seamless product ad delivery.

• Establish and oversee team SLAs.

• Mentor team members and advocate for cross-functional collaboration.

• Play a significant role in shaping team strategy and future initiatives.

• Partner with knowledge graph teams to enhance organic shopping capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in backend or full-stack product development.

• 2+ years of experience in leading engineering teams.

• Highly technical, with the capability to tackle complex problems and guide the team in their resolution.

• Ability to operate independently and make decisions while solving problems autonomously.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively with teams in a fully remote setting.

• Exceptional communication skills for engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Candidates must reside in the UK or the Netherlands.
