Engineering Manager, Product Catalogs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee the full stack Product Catalogs team that is responsible for the advertiser-facing experience at Reddit.

• Develop user interfaces, APIs, and backend systems that manage the products of advertisers.

• Design a world-class catalogs system with the capability to scale to billions of products.

• Collaborate with product managers and designers to create engaging user experiences.

• Work alongside teams such as Ad Formats and Ad Delivery to ensure seamless product ads delivery.

• Set and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) within the team.

• Mentor team members and represent the team across different functions.

• Contribute to the strategic planning and future direction of the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in backend or full stack product development.

• At least 2 years of experience in managing engineering teams.

• Highly technical, with a strong ability to resolve complex team challenges while guiding the team towards effective solutions.

• Capable of working independently and making autonomous decisions to address problems.

• Proficient in collaborating effectively in a fully-remote work environment.

• Able to discuss intricate topics with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Must be comfortable working with stakeholders primarily located in North America.
