📋 Description

• Create and execute high-performance, scalable, and responsive user interfaces.

• Enhance frontend performance to guarantee smooth and efficient user experiences.

• Address real-time challenges by enabling concurrent editing that is resilient to network interruptions, relying on a single source of truth managed through effective caching.

• Convert functional requirements into sleek and straightforward designs, delivering top-notch code.

• Comprehend and respond to product and customer needs, proposing innovative solutions to maximize value for end users.

• Mentor up to six direct reports, offering guidance and support.

• Set expectations, gather and provide feedback, and develop career advancement plans utilizing the skill leveling matrix.

• Engage in performance-related discussions with other managers, including suggesting and calibrating salary increases and addressing under-performance issues.

• Optionally lead ad hoc projects to streamline engineering efforts, such as organizing technical demonstrations, facilitating All Hands meetings, or refining the skill leveling matrix.

• Maintain separation between career decisions and technical selections, as people managers do not control a specific technical domain.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a software engineer working on a product in production; for managerial roles, this experience must be assessed during the interview process at a “senior” level (typically 7-8 years).

• At least 2-3 years of experience in people management.

• Demonstrated proficiency with frontend technologies such as TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, React, Vue, and Angular.

• Strong team spirit with a problem-solving mindset and a focus on user experience.

• A healthy dose of humility and a desire to grow.
