Manager, Software Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead, guide, and nurture a team that supports account opening and customer initiatives.

• Manage software development, maintenance, and the technical processes associated with the teams.

• Collaborate with Product, Project Management, Architecture, and Engineering teams to ensure successful project execution.

• Propel process enhancements, automation projects, and operational efficiency initiatives.

• Assist with system integrations and the technical delivery processes.

• Promote collaboration and effective communication among both technical and business stakeholders.

• Ensure that project commitments, quality benchmarks, and customer expectations are fulfilled.

• Aid in the strategic adoption of AI and intelligent automation to optimize activities, minimize manual effort, enhance accuracy, and expedite client implementations.

• Advocate for continuous improvement utilizing AI-enabled tools, analytics, and workflow automation to boost productivity, scalability, and operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Over 6 years of experience in software development.

• Proficient in developing REST APIs using C#, .NET, Java, Python, Node.js, or similar technologies.

• Familiarity with API security concepts, including OAuth2 and JWT.

• Experience with SQL and relational databases.

• Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Capacity to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

• Knowledge of software development, system integration, and technical delivery processes.

• Experience utilizing AI-enabled development and project management tools, including Azure DevOps.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Ability to cultivate effective partnerships across teams and departments.

• Visa sponsorship is not available; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

• Preferred: Experience in leading process improvement, automation, or operational efficiency projects.

• Strong preference for candidates with experience in the FinTech industry.
