Engineering Lead, Claims Pipeline, CRM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Take charge of Chariot's claims pipeline from the submission of claims through to eligibility verification and the transition to partner law firms.

• Transform scripts and manual processes into a dependable and observable production pipeline.

• Develop real-time claims processing, incorporating stages for claim quality and fraud detection.

• Create systems that link claimants with partner law firms, including a dashboard for claimants and case handoff functionality.

• Ensure the reliability and observability of the pipeline.

• Contribute to the foundational aspects of shared platforms, internal tools, MCPs, and agent harnesses.

• Recruit, evaluate, and expand the engineering team.

• Construct coding harnesses and agents utilized by the team.

• Treat internal tools as a product designed for both internal operations and external users.

• Make independent product decisions and support them with evidence.

• Manage the claims vertical while fostering collaboration across the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in building and delivering production software at a staff-level technical scope.

• A history of shipping products from start to finish and taking ownership of results.

• Strong product instincts and the capability to make well-informed product decisions autonomously.

• Experience in early-stage environments (Series A or earlier).

• Experience in building and developing a team, or readiness to hire and lead from the very beginning.

• Bonus: familiarity with real-time or event-driven pipelines, workflow orchestration, and third-party API integration.

• Bonus: experience in developing CRM or operational tools and analytics instrumentation.

• Proficiency with Go and AWS.

• Ability to work with coding harnesses and agents on a daily basis.

• Experience in delivering products from inception to completion.

• Required application submission: a brief note on a 0→1 product launched and a system built with AI agents or harnesses integrated.
