Engineer/Analyst – Distribution Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze data to pinpoint areas for operational enhancement.

• Design and refine distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and warehouse operations.

• Perform facility evaluations, operational audits, and master planning studies.

• Assess process flows, staffing needs, equipment alternatives, and facility designs.

• Implement Lean principles and engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

• Develop data models to assess potential operational modifications and business results.

• Create presentations and convey recommendations to clients.

• Investigate emerging technologies and industry developments.

• Assist project teams with cost analyses, capital planning, and strategic recommendations.

• Contribute to client deliverables that yield measurable business outcomes.

• Travel to client locations and observe operations in person.

• Collaborate with seasoned consultants and industry experts.

• Present insights and recommendations directly to clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• High level of attention to detail.

• A sense of curiosity and a commitment to continuous improvement.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within project teams.

• Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, engineering, or operations is preferred.

• Lean Six Sigma certification or relevant coursework is preferred.

• Experience with operational, manufacturing, or logistics data is preferred.

• Familiarity with warehouse, manufacturing, or supply chain environments is preferred.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, AutoCAD, WMS, MES, or ERP systems such as SAP is advantageous.

• Willingness to travel to client facilities.
