Engineer, Technical Fleet Support – Buses

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Engage actively in the technical advancement and dependable upkeep of the bus fleet.

• Serve as the technical intermediary between workshops and vehicle/system manufacturers.

• Evaluate faults and vulnerabilities while coordinating measures for technical enhancements.

• Assist in managing the vehicle systems of the current fleet, addressing technical and operational needs.

• Formulate and refine maintenance strategies and procedures.

• Assume complete accountability for warranty, statutory liability, and goodwill cases.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree (Bachelor’s or from a university of applied sciences) in automotive engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a similar qualification; equivalent skills and knowledge gained through extensive professional experience will also be accepted.

• Proficiency in German (minimum CEFR level C1).

• Familiarity with technical regulations and legislation, including DGUV regulations and DIN standards.

• Comprehensive understanding of maintenance processes, electronic vehicle systems, and systematic fault diagnosis.

• Excellent communication abilities and a confident demeanor when acting as the link between vehicle manufacturers and workshops, as well as when coordinating and aligning issues and requirements.

• A university degree is not a prerequisite; equivalent skills and knowledge from many years of professional experience will be taken into account.
