Engineer Surveyor – Pressure Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Perform hands-on inspections of equipment and plants at factories, warehouses, and other commercial locations.

• Assess pressure systems, compressed air, steam equipment, pressure vessels, boilers, and other installations.

• Collaborate closely with the Engineer Surveyor Team under the guidance of a Senior Operations Team Leader.

• Generate electronic reports of assessments following inspections.

• Evaluate installations, foresee potential issues, and assist clients in adhering to applicable laws and regulations.

• Coordinate meetings, site visits, and the allocation of work tasks.

• Travel to client locations within the designated work area.

• Provide support and act in place of fellow Engineer Surveyors when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Applicants must possess at least a Level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering field, preferably Mechanical Engineering, or be actively pursuing an equivalent qualification.

• Experience working with steam generation, compressed air, and related plants.

• Background in manufacturing (QA and production), maintenance and operation, repairs, and site inspections.

• Current knowledge and understanding of applicable compliance and regulatory guidelines related to the Pressure Mechanical discipline.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• A full valid UK driving licence.

• Effective time management skills with the capability to independently organize the week’s tasks.

• Willingness to travel effectively within the assigned local area.

• Proficiency in processing documentation and managing general administration promptly.

• Readiness to support and stand in for colleagues who are Engineer Surveyors in the same discipline.

• Comfortable utilizing tablets and smartphones.

• Incorporated Engineer status is desirable.

• Familiarity with Responsible AI principles is a plus.
