Engineer Surveyor, Lift & Crane

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

• Engage in tailored, industry-leading training programs.

• Conduct practical statutory inspections of lift and crane machinery.

• Assist clients in adhering to applicable legislation and required standards.

• Document inspection results using a durable laptop.

• Distribute reports electronically to clients.

• Oversee your own schedule and client territory.

• Cultivate and strengthen client relationships while representing Zurich Engineering.

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary inspection team.

• Report directly to a Team Manager.

• Operate from home while traveling to clients within a manageable distance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Skilled engineer with a solid understanding of the pertinent engineering discipline.

• Preferably holds a Level 4 qualification (HND/HNC etc.) in a related engineering field; at minimum Level 3.

• Completed a time-served or Modern Apprenticeship.

• Practical experience in a relevant engineering discipline.

• Experience with lift and/or crane equipment is advantageous.

• Background in manufacturing, repair, maintenance, mechanical, or motor trade is beneficial.

• Possess a full valid UK driving licence.

• Willingness and capability to work paid overtime.

• Strong IT skills and high levels of literacy.

• Exceptional communication abilities.

• Confidence in making sound engineering decisions.
