Engineer Surveyor – Electrical, LEV

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct inspections, testing, and reporting on electrical systems and Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) equipment.

• Evaluate electrical plants and LEV systems in compliance with applicable legislation and standards.

• Execute Periodic Inspection & Testing and complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) for industrial and commercial facilities.

• Assess LEV equipment, such as fans, ducting, hoods, and filtration systems.

• Generate clear and precise reports along with necessary certifications.

• Detect faults and offer practical recommendations focused on safety.

• Foster customer relationships while providing technical advice and assistance.

• Ensure all activities align with Allianz's quality, safety, and compliance standards.

• Oversee personal schedule and travel regularly to client locations.

• Act as a deputy for Engineer Surveyors when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current knowledge and understanding of all relevant compliance and regulatory guidelines related to the Electrical/LEV sector.

• Capability to plan work in the short, medium, and long term, including organizing meetings, site visits, and task allocation.

• Ability to travel effectively within the designated local work area.

• Proficiency in processing documentation and handling general administrative tasks.

• Practical experience in low voltage wiring installation, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering.

• Certification in BS7671:2018 (18th Edition), C&G2391 Inspection & Testing, or equivalent.

• Familiarity with Local Exhaust Ventilation Systems and an understanding of COSHH Regulations.

• Valid UK Driver’s License.

• Ability to organize and prioritize personal workload efficiently.

• Strong skills in customer interaction.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Competence in working collaboratively as a team member and stepping in for fellow Engineer Surveyors when needed.
