Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain application components for the Kantata SX solution.

• Assist in the development of new features and maintain existing builds.

• Collaborate with colleagues to address market challenges.

• Partner with Product Management to outline, plan, design, and create new Kantata PSA features following a sprint-based delivery model.

• Take ownership of, shape, and enhance functionality for customer improvements and product backlog features.

• Investigate and resolve issues raised by the client support team.

• Identify underlying causes and implement engineering fixes and modifications.

• Contribute to the overall solution architecture, emphasizing performance and process enhancements.

• Analyze requirements, comprehend and develop user stories, and design features centered on customer needs.

• Assume responsibility for the comprehensive design and delivery of critical functional areas.

• Contribute to the patterns and practices of the Salesforce platform.

• Deliver scalable features utilizing efficient UI, Apex, and SOQL designs.

• Rapidly prototype solutions to intricate challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Intermediate-level experience in software development on the Force.com platform.

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies, including estimation, TDD, and sprint cycles.

• Experience in designing and implementing across all layers of web-based SaaS solutions.

• Background in Salesforce development and performance enhancement.

• Full-stack development experience.

• Proficiency with Visualforce, Lightning components, Apex, custom objects, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Strong communication skills for technical design discussions, documentation, and presentations.

• Ability to tackle unique or unprecedented development challenges without predefined solutions.

• Capability to analyze requirements, comprehend and develop user stories, and design customer-centric functionality.
