This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Analyze materials, machinery, equipment, and labor costs for construction projects.

• Create bills of quantities for various construction activities.

• Develop cost estimates and budgets for construction initiatives.

• Prepare comprehensive construction schedules for projects.

• Review and critique proposals submitted by contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

• Compile and present progress reports and variations to relevant stakeholders.

• Provide quotes for materials, machinery, equipment, labor, and services.

• Address disputes concerning costs or contractual agreements.

• Operate independently on daily tasks while coordinating with the project team as necessary.

• Report directly to the Project Manager and collaborate with architects, interior designers, structural and MEP engineers, the FF&E procurement team, and client representatives.

• Focus around 80% of estimation efforts on detailed AACE Class 3 and 2 estimates, with up to 20% on initial AACE Class 5 and 4 estimates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in estimation, quantity surveying, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field.

• At least 6 years of proven experience as an estimator in construction projects.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience estimating for high-end hospitality or residential projects.

• Demonstrated ability to estimate budgets for construction projects exceeding $20M USD.

• Proficient in relevant software, including Excel, Google Sheets, Revit, and AutoCAD.

• Established network of industry connections and relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

• Fluency in English is essential.

• Familiarity with procurement processes, tender documentation, and contract administration.

• Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and driven to deliver precise and timely outcomes.
