This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Generate cost estimates, oversee budgets, assess project expenses, and assist with procurement and contract management throughout the project's duration.

• Operate autonomously on daily responsibilities while coordinating with the project team as necessary.

• Provide accurate reports and updates on a regular basis.

• Report directly to the Project Manager and work collaboratively with architects, interior designers, structural and MEP engineers, the FF&E procurement team, and client representatives.

• Concentrate primarily on precise cost estimations, dedicating approximately 80% of efforts to AACE Class 3 and 2 estimation and up to 20% to AACE Class 5 and 4.

• Perform analyses to evaluate the costs of materials, machinery, equipment, and labor for construction initiatives.

• Create bills of quantities for construction tasks.

• Develop cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.

• Formulate detailed construction schedules for building endeavors.

• Review and critically assess proposals from contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

• Prepare and deliver progress reports and variations to stakeholders.

• Quote costs for materials, machinery, equipment, labor, and services.

• Address disputes related to costs or contracts.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in estimation, quantity surveying, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience as an estimator in construction projects (6+ years).

• Proven track record as an estimator in high-end hospitality/residential projects (3+ years).

• Experience in estimating budgets for construction projects exceeding $20M USD.

• Proficient in relevant software (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, Revit, AutoCAD).

• Established network of industry contacts and relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

• Fluent in English.

• Understanding of procurement processes, tender documentation, and contract management.

• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and driven to produce accurate and timely results.
