Energy Projects Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design and implement decarbonised energy solutions tailored for large energy consumers.

• Secure high-quality projects and establish successful project delivery teams.

• Collaborate with teams in Business Development, Technical Direction, Supply Chain, cost estimation, and scheduling.

• Lead the development of project execution plans and offer constructability insights as designs progress.

• Participate in proposal development and create cost and time estimates.

• Engage with clients directly to identify their needs and refine solutions accordingly.

• Present final proposals to clients effectively.

• Manage complex projects that involve integrated techno-economic capital and operating models, as well as third-party funding methods.

• Partner with supply chain associates to devise viable solutions.

• Share work internally through the project governance framework.

• Facilitate smooth transitions between project phases and incorporate lessons learned into future project planning.

• Proven project management skills and experience, particularly in engineering and construction contexts, ideally within the energy sector.

• Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively at all levels and through various mediums.

• Ability to juggle multiple opportunities with competing and shifting priorities in a fast-paced business development landscape.

• Willingness to travel to diverse project sites as needed.

• Experience in business development to maintain a customer-centric focus.

• A degree-level qualification in a relevant engineering, construction, or commercial field is preferred.

• Membership in a relevant professional organization is advantageous.

• Familiarity with decarbonisation solutions and technologies is a plus.
