Endpoint Systems Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage Microsoft Intune, encompassing enrollment, compliance, configuration profiles, applications, and endpoint security policies.

• Oversee Windows Autopilot to facilitate standardized, zero-touch provisioning and device refresh.

• Ensure device baselines are maintained through patching, security configurations, disk encryption, and necessary software.

• Collaborate with the Security team to monitor and address endpoint risks, including AV/EDR health, vulnerabilities, and compliance exceptions.

• Assist with identity and access management tasks in Entra ID, covering users/groups, MFA, conditional access, and device join/registration.

• Provide Tier 2 support for endpoint, authentication, and Microsoft 365/SaaS access issues; escalate as necessary.

• Manage onboarding and offboarding activities for devices, including readiness, enrollment, and secure wipe/retirement.

• Create and update runbooks, standards, knowledge articles, and maintain current tickets.

• Deliver consistent support for a remote-first workforce of around 130+ users.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in supporting and managing end-user endpoints in a modern (cloud-first) environment.

• Practical experience with Microsoft Intune, covering device enrollment, compliance, configuration, and application deployment.

• Familiarity with Windows Autopilot and lifecycle management, including provisioning, resetting, and retiring devices.

• Understanding of Entra ID and modern authentication methods, such as SSO, MFA, and conditional access.

• Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows, Microsoft 365, and popular SaaS applications.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with end users.

• Experience with macOS support is advantageous.

• Certifications from Microsoft, CompTIA, or ITIL are beneficial.

• Expertise in Intune administration, including compliance, configuration, app deployment, and endpoint security.

• Proficient in troubleshooting Windows endpoints, including OS, drivers, updates, BitLocker, and performance issues.

• Knowledge of Autopilot provisioning and device lifecycle processes.

• Fundamental understanding of Entra ID and support for MFA/conditional access challenges.

• Excellent communication skills, strong ticket management practices, and effective documentation abilities.

• Security-oriented approach to endpoint operations and data management.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
