This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and create tailored treatment plans through video consultations.
• Work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality care standards.
• Complete necessary training while adhering to Allara’s clinical policies, standards, and best practices.
• Inform patients about preventative care and wellness using evidence-based approaches.
• Keep precise and current patient records, ensuring timely completion of charting.
• Address patient inquiries and manage administrative messages and tasks.
• Commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week in patient-facing activities, including consultations, medical advice, and prescribing as clinically appropriate.
• MD or DO degree from a recognized institution.
• Active ABIM board certification in Endocrinology through an ACGME-accredited program.
• Active IMLC license or currently pursuing one.
• Valid, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state.
• A minimum of two years of recent and continuous practice experience with an MD/DO license.
• Ability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking abilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating compassion and clarity.
• Skill in establishing trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.
• Dedication to evidence-based clinical practice.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.
• Previous telehealth experience is an advantage.
• Experience in women’s health is a plus.
