EMR Download Associate – Medical Records

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Retrieve medical records from Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.

• Conduct quality assessments to verify that records are complete and legible.

• Oversee completed tasks and offer constructive feedback to enhance team performance.

• Uphold policies, procedures, work instructions, and projects aimed at quality and continuous improvement.

• Contribute to organizational growth by ensuring customer satisfaction through high service quality.

• Protect patient records and manage data transfers in accordance with HIPAA standards and organizational regulations.

• Scan and validate medical records for the purpose of uploading.

• Ensure complete confidentiality in line with organizational and legal standards.

• Download patients' medical records from secure EMR systems utilizing HIPAA-compliant software.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of a High School Diploma.

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

• Strong logical reasoning and analytical skills.

• Willingness to accept feedback and coaching as part of ongoing training.

• Proficient computer skills.

• Good understanding of the US healthcare industry and its regulations.

• Experience collaborating with various medical practices and physicians; knowledge of EMR systems is a plus.
