EMR Analyst II – Epic Beacon

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze, design, implement, and maintain moderately complex clinical systems.

• Provide support for system testing and document the outcomes of those tests.

• Create technical solutions utilizing development lifecycle processes and appropriate documentation.

• Organize clinical systems training and establish environments as necessary.

• Generate educational technology content and enhance education and learning methodologies.

• Engage in process improvement initiatives and apply multivariate learning modalities.

• Assume responsibility for tasks, communicate any issues or roadblocks, and facilitate project-related communications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in design and leadership meetings.

• Consult with end users to enhance clinical workflows, applications, and training materials.

• Identify optimal practices for the utilization of clinical systems and training.

• Support or lead the design, development, and implementation of application requests.

• Support or lead project plans for projects of moderate complexity.

• Assess project scope, manage resources, and finalize assigned tasks and documentation.

• Coordinate communication among internal and external stakeholders.

• Consult with end users to establish and validate system requirements.

• Deliver advanced troubleshooting and exceptional end-user support.

• Monitor Service Level Agreements related to incident management.

• Plan and carry out clinical system training while creating advanced educational and training materials.

• Advocate for change management policies and procedures.

• Provide prompt and effective customer follow-up while adhering to CCHMC's CARES service standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or a relevant combination of education and experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related job discipline.

• Familiarity with oncology workflows, treatment plans, infusion workflows, medication administration processes, and oncology clinical documentation.

• Preferred Epic certifications include Beacon Oncology, Ambulatory, Orders, Willow, or related clinical applications.
