Email SMS Program Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Manage the complete project lifecycle for Email and SMS initiatives, from intake and briefing to build, quality assurance, deployment, and post-send analysis.

• Coordinate creative, copy, data, and development teams throughout the campaign creation, execution, and insight-gathering processes.

• Create and oversee campaign calendars, intake procedures, and production workflows.

• Maintain project management tools and monitor tickets, tasks, and epics.

• Act as the primary point of accountability for timely and accurate execution of owned-channel campaigns.

• Set and uphold quality assurance standards for email and SMS initiatives.

• Oversee and enhance Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other CRM/ESP platforms.

• Manage ongoing triggers and customer journeys, including Welcome Series, Abandon Cart, Post-Purchase, and win-back strategies.

• Take ownership of campaign reporting, produce regular reports, and provide actionable insights and recommendations.

• Collaborate with CRM strategy, creative, digital, and UX teams to convert plans into actionable production timelines.

• Ensure email list hygiene and adherence to deliverability best practices.

• Foster continuous improvement by eliminating production bottlenecks and enhancing speed and quality.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution or 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.

• At least 3 years of experience in project or program management.

• Practical experience in managing email marketing execution.

• Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a similar CRM/ESP tool.

• Proven experience in building and launching campaigns, triggers, and customer journeys.

• Capability to manage multiple campaigns and projects from start to finish within tight deadlines.

• Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• A strong history of quality assurance and impeccable execution.

• Experience in developing always-on triggers and journeys such as Abandon Cart, Post-Purchase, and Welcome Series.

• Proficient reporting skills, including the ability to extract performance data and formulate actionable recommendations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• A results-oriented mindset in a fast-paced work environment.
