This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Develop, sustain, and enhance automated customer journeys for both existing and potential customers.
• Set up entry events, decision splits, audience segmentation, and campaign logic.
• Take charge of email measurement and optimization, encompassing KPI definitions, campaign analysis, routine reporting, insight generation, and A/B testing.
• Design engaging, responsive HTML email templates that are compatible across various devices and platforms.
• Oversee email lists, segmentation strategies, personalization, and automation workflows.
• Manage email channel hygiene and practices related to deliverability.
• Track bounce rates, spam complaints, unsubscribes, engagement trends, inbox placement, domain reputation, and audience fatigue.
• Suggest re-engagement, frequency, and sunsetting strategies.
• Collaborate with creative, marketing, technology, ESP, and compliance teams on messaging, brand standards, deliverability, consent, unsubscribe requirements, and governance of list health.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in email marketing, ideally within the insurance or similar sectors.
• Proven expertise in HTML for email design, quality assurance, and troubleshooting.
• Significant hands-on experience with Acoustic, Braze, or similar ESP platforms.
• Proficient in creating automated customer journeys, lifecycle campaigns, and audience segmentation strategies.
• Strong knowledge of email and lifecycle marketing analytics, including KPI development, performance reporting, trend analysis, A/B testing, segmentation analysis, and the ability to convert insights into actionable optimization recommendations.
• Familiarity with campaign, CRM, ESP, and web analytics reporting tools.
• Understanding of email deliverability and best practices for channel hygiene, including sender reputation, authentication concepts, bounce management, spam complaint monitoring, suppression logic, preference management, unsubscribe compliance, re-engagement campaigns, and sunsetting strategies.
• Exceptional communication and organizational abilities, with a knack for managing multiple priorities and collaborating effectively across teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
