This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Support the development and execution of email marketing campaigns.
• Oversee the creation of email templates and the setup of analytics.
• Craft communications that foster alumni relationships, enhance engagement, and promote donor retention.
• Design visually appealing assets for email, social media, digital displays, and printed materials while ensuring brand consistency.
• Follow university branding guidelines.
• Organize and manage the digital asset library efficiently.
• Collaborate with alumni, admissions, fundraising teams, and other key stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 2–4 years of experience in email marketing and/or graphic design.
• Proficient in email marketing and automation tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member.
• Familiarity with learning and navigating email marketing platforms (preferred).
• Experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM system (preferred).
• Knowledge of Marketing Cloud (preferred).
• Background in digital communications (preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Skilled in Microsoft Teams / Zoom.
• Proficient in SharePoint / cloud-based platforms.
• Experience with a mass email marketing platform.
• Proficiency in Canva or a similar graphic design tool is strongly preferred.
• Strong skills in organization, proofreading, quality assurance, time management, problem-solving, critical thinking, adaptability, initiative, proactivity, dependability, and ownership.
• Temporary, part-time role.
• Work hours of 3 hours per day, totaling up to 15 hours per week.
• Flexible weekday schedule available between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
