ELX Service Specialist – Electrolyzer Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Coordinate and execute service and preventive maintenance tasks for electrolyzers and various hydrogen systems at client locations.

• Diagnose, repair, and conduct general maintenance on field equipment.

• Travel as necessary to customer sites, including urgent repair visits on short notice and the potential for up to 100% travel.

• Operate, commission, and provide support for industrial hydrogen systems and their components.

• Identify system issues, troubleshoot failures, and determine root causes.

• Interpret drawings and P&IDs effectively.

• Develop and manage the preventive maintenance program for electrolyzer field equipment.

• Monitor the performance of field equipment and recommend as well as implement design improvements.

• Engage with clients, gather feedback, address issues, and offer design and operational recommendations.

• Ensure the safe operation of electrolyzer equipment and associated infrastructure.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system designs and rectify defects based on field insights and data.

• Interact with clients and external vendors while maintaining a strong customer service orientation.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree or vocational degree in engineering technology or a related field of study.

• A high school diploma along with over 3 years of relevant work experience may be accepted in place of the degree requirement.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capacity to travel frequently and on short notice as needed (up to 100%).

• High proficiency in the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems.

• Experience with industrial hydrogen systems is highly preferred.

• Ability to diagnose system failures and identify root causes.

• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent analytical abilities and data analysis skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
