ELX Service Specialist – Electrolyzer Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +44 more states.

📋 Description

• Coordinate and execute service, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and general upkeep for electrolyzers and other hydrogen systems at client locations.

• Travel as required to customer sites, with significant travel expectations of up to 100% and possible international assignments.

• Operate and troubleshoot industrial hydrogen systems and their components.

• Design, commission, and manage industrial hydrogen systems.

• Read and interpret technical drawings and P&IDs.

• Develop and manage the preventive maintenance program for electrolyzer field equipment.

• Monitor performance of field equipment and recommend as well as implement design improvements.

• Engage with customers to gather feedback, address issues, and provide suggestions for design and operations.

• Ensure the safe operation of electrolyzer equipment and infrastructure.

• Respond promptly to urgent field equipment repair and maintenance requirements, including travel on short notice.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, customer stakeholders, and external vendors.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree or vocational training in engineering technology or a related field.

• A high school diploma along with 3+ years of relevant work experience can serve as a substitute for the degree requirement.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to travel frequently and at short notice as required (up to 100%).

• High proficiency in the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems.

• Experience with industrial hydrogen systems is highly desirable.

• Capability to diagnose system failures and identify root causes.

• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

• Outstanding analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis.

• Competence in Microsoft Office software.
